It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Board of Directors of Haitian Christian Ministries (HCM) announces that our Field Director and Senior Pastor, Bobanoit Lucceus (Pastor Bob), passed away and is living anew with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pastor Bob was married to Rose, his amazing wife and endless source of strength. Together they have three incredibly sweet and kind children: Calvin (15) Martin (11) and Zayra (9). Pastor Bob was a dynamic leader who poured himself into the development of others while leading his church by example in how to love God and love people.
Pastor Bob served as Senior Pastor/Field Director for HCM for the past 10 years at our flagship campus in Pillatre, Haiti. In addition, he oversaw the pastors of 6 other churches planted by HCM in northern Haiti. As Field Director, he led three different schools educating 1,700 students along with feeding them a hot meal everyday. He also led the operation of our medical clinic where thousands of people receive much needed healthcare annually.
Please pray for peace and strength for Rose and their children as they process this devastating loss and seek comfort from our Lord above. Pastor Bob’s funeral services will take place at Eastview Christian Church in Normal, IL on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Visitation will occur from 9-11am central time at the church followed by the funeral service at 11:30am. A graveside service will take place at 1pm for family and close friends. A separate funeral service will take place at Pillatre Christian Church in Cap Haitian, Haiti on a future date to be announced.
